Nicholas J. Rubino

Nicholas J. Rubino is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Wills, Trusts and Estates. From his Maitland law office, he practices in the field of family and business planning and elder law. Special emphasis is placed in the areas of family estate and trust planning, tax and business planning and transactions, estate, trust, and guardianship administration.

Nick was a former Estate Tax Attorney for the Internal Revenue Service and was a Vice President and Trust Officer for several local trust departments. He served as Chairman of the Orange County Bar Association’s Probate Trust and Guardianship Committee. Nick lectures extensively on estate and trust planning, business and tax matters, complex estate and tax issues, including the family limited partnership and administration of estates, guardianships, and trust. In years past he hosted the local radio talk show called “Financial and Legally Speaking” on Tuesday evenings on AM station, 740 WINZ.

Nick is admitted to practice law in Florida and Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Alaska and received his Economics degree from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1975, he obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Detroit and he graduated with honors from the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.

As a devoted husband and father with his wife Kathy and his children Jill, Brad, Elizabeth and Jeff, Nick enjoys spending time with his family at home and on vacations. He is a racquetball competitor and an avid rollerblader, golfer, dancer and scuba diver.

Nick has been quite active in the local community and his church. He has served on the Seminole County and Orlando Chamber of Commerce, the United Way Fund, the Life Concepts Board of Trustees (which provides a residential program for mentally and physically handicapped adults), as well as the Altamonte Springs Board of Zoning Appeals and other community activities.
